專(zhuān)家介紹:Professor Zed Rengel has earned PhD at the Louisiana State University in the United States in 1988. He worked as postdoc and then research fellow at the University of Adelaide, Australia. In 1996, he transferred to the University of Western Australia in Perth, and has been the full professor of earth and environment. The emphasis of his research has been on abiotic stresses (acidity, heavy metal and arsenic toxicity, nutrient deficiency, salinity, waterlogging) in crop germplasm and native plant ecotypes.
Zed is the author/co-author of 300+ publications in peer-refereed international journals and 37 invited book chapters. He edited 7 books and 6 journal special issues. Zed is the Editor-in-Chief or Associate Editor of 9 journals (including Journal of Experimental Botany, Crop Science, Journal of Soil Science, et al).
